Now it's striking "13" in Berlin!
The 13th NUMISMATA Berlin on 8 and 9 October 2011

In October it will be time again for the elite amongst the international coin fans to meet for a mutual collectors' weekend on the trade fair grounds under the Berlin radio tower. The dark clouds of a global financial crisis which have continually dominated the headlines will be driven away thanks to a stable numismatic collector-high pressure system. A blue and white sky promises that these clouds won't have a chance since the word "crisis" does not exist within a passionate collector's vocabulary! Especially not when we're talking about a trade fair with a prestige like the NUMISMATA. Coin collectors have known for many years what awaits them here at the NUMISMATA and, even more important, what they can expect here. In fact, it's very simple; whoever enjoys it here and has come of their own volition comes back again the next year! The same is true for the countless retailers and exhibitors; they are also completely in the know and continue to come back. It is no wonder, then, that one tries to reserve a booth at the trade fair as quickly as possible in order to avoid being left out. The NUMISMATA in Berlin is much more than just a trade fair, it is also a beloved meeting point. Often times, the attendees have known each other for years, greet each other at the booths, talk shop about new developments and hold conversations with the customers, practically and in a familiar atmosphere. Where else does that happen? When the doors to the 13th NUMISMATA finally open on 8 October at the fair halls under the Berlin radio tower, they will also simultaneously open for the International Stamp Fair Berlin, which is being held parallel to the NUMISMATA in the same fair hall. With Erich Modes, the collectors, regardless of whether they are philatelists or numismatics, are sitting in the same boat. With this in mind, you shouldn't forget to take a moment to look over and take notice of collecting neighbours. They would certainly appreciate a "Hi, how are you doing?". It can definitely be informative.

We warmly invite you, as a visitor, exhibitor or retailer, to take part in this one-of-a-kind trade fair and underscore its international significance through your attendance.

With best wishes, the NUMISMATA International Team
