Coin fair in Frankfurt  2005
The first Numismata Frankfurt was successful
156 dealers from twenty countries offered their goods on 5th and 6th November 2005 at the Forum of Messe Frankfurt Main. It was the first NUMISMATA in Frankfurt and it gives hope for more since the dealers and the collectors were obviously satisfied. The organisation was as usual. The smooth running of the Numismata, the basis for good business, has already reached a Cult status among the exhibitors. From the security room for coins to the bottle of champagne with Numismata label - Erich Modes knows what is important for "his" exhibitors and furthermore what makes them feel good. The Forum of the Messe Frankfurt formed the ideal frame for a coin fair. A bright and large room which provided enough space to stop and look; some discreet corners where collectors could swap, bargain und discuss; individual support by an experienced service team; sufficient, if fairly expensive parking lots – Erich Modes will renegotiate with the Messe Frankfurt for the next Numismata -, the attending coin dealers and collectors had reason to be satisfied with their decision to have come to the Numismata Frankfurt. 156 dealers on 2.500 square metres, among them companies, who came from as far as the United States and the United Arab Emirates, - one can really call it an international coin fair. Especially the coin dealers from Eastern Europe are positive about the cachet “Numismata”. They came from Bulgaria, Bosnia, Croatia, Poland, Romania, Slovenia and Hungary. But also the other European countries were well represented: France, Austria, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Belgium, Finland, Italy, Portugal, Sweden and Greece – here listed in the order of total participants. So the collectors profited from a wide variety of offer. Thousands of posters in the metropolitan area of Frankfurt attracted not only the usual visitors but also many newcomers especially young ones to coin collecting to the NUMISMATA. Not least because of these newcomers were the dealers greatly satisfied with their sales during the first NUMISMATA in Frankfurt, - and there is hope for more. It is already certain that the next NUMISMATA Frankfurt will take place in the Congress Center of the Messe Frankfurt on the fourth and fifth of November 2006.
